Data Controller Israel

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain data management systems to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of Exelot's data.
• Collect, process, and analyze large sets of data to support business operations and decision-making processes.
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and company policies, implementing robust data governance practices.
• Monitor data quality and perform regular audits to identify and rectify discrepancies and inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with different departments to understand their data needs and provide relevant insights and reports.
• Maintain detailed documentation of data processes, procedures, and standards.
• Implement data management tools and technologies to streamline data handling and improve efficiency.
• Train and support staff on data-related issues and best practices for data management.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend data management solutions to enhance productivity and data accuracy.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Data Controller, Data Analyst, or similar role, preferably in the logistics or e-commerce industry.
• Strong understanding of data management principles, data governance, and data protection regulations.
• Proficiency in data management tools and software, such as SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to handle large datasets and perform complex data analysis.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• High level of integrity and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with data integration and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
• Familiarity with database management systems and data warehousing.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R.
• Understanding of cloud-based data management solutions.
